New Huatulco – Tijuana and Leon direct flight

The increase in frequencies, the reactivation of existing routes and the start of new domestic flights make Huatulco a place in constant tourist growth and an increasingly attractive option for national and foreign visitors.

With the return of the direct flight Oaxaca-Huatulco through the airline Regional Air Transport (TAR), which remained suspended for about three months, and the increase in frequencies of the Querétaro-Huatulco route, from two flights to seven a week , the connectivity is strengthened and the number of passengers increases.

“They are excellent news. The connectivity offer for Huatulco is expanded and this increases the number of visitors. Likewise, we have already consolidated flights from Monterrey and Guadalajara (with the company Volaris), and the increase in frequencies for Querétaro gives the route a boost”, said Verónica Gómez Rojo, councilor for Tourism and Sustainable Development of Santa María Huatulco

The official said that for the last quarter of the year, the airline Volaris will start two more routes from Tijuana to Huatulco and León (Guanajuato) to Huatulco, which will achieve greater projection of the destination in the Bajío and North of the country.

With this, he affirmed, the arrival of visitors is encouraged, not only to vacation, but also to do business, and at the same time the inhabitants of the Coast widen their travel possibilities to several states of the Republic, with that, the commercial line of this destination is strengthened.
