Convenient Shopping for Coastal Residents by Brent May August 11, 2023 by Brent May 1.4K Yucatan’s My Marketplace is now open between Chicxulub and Telchac! If you are looking for smaller community destinations, emerald blue water and long, calm beaches, the coast of Yucatan state is one of the hottest new beach community destinations. Explore small, laid-back communities with the beach lifestyle you’ve been dreaming of. Plus, you will be close to the conveniences of Progreso and not far from Merida, the state capital and cultural center. We knew it was just a matter of time before a bigger, convenient supermarket opened up on this beautiful expanse of the Yucatan coast. My MarketPlace has opened serving the Chicxulub and Telchac Puerto communities making it a very convenient grocery for our coastal communities. Of course, we have larger supermarkets, more services and amenities in Progreso. But the new My MarketPlace makes it so easy to drop in for some quick grocery shopping. You can find My MarketPlace at kilometer 10 on the Progreso Highway between Chicxulub Puerto and Telchac Puerto. You can even place your order online and drive thru to pick it up! Shop online at www.mymarketplace.mx. You’ll find a large selection of products and produce including fruits and vegetables, fish and seafood, a meat department, wines and liquors, dry goods, beauty products, cleaning supplies, and a panaderia or bakery. My MarketPlace is open every day from 7AM to 10 PM. The wine and liquor section is open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 10 and Sunday 11-5. 0 FacebookTwitterPinterestEmail Brent May Brent May is the GM and Founder of Mexico Living.
