In addition to the opening of this new air route, the Chicago-Huatulco-Chicago flight, which will generate an average of 2,300 additional monthly seats in Oaxaca. The two new routes to Huatulco Bays were made with an Airbus A320 equipment, with capacity for 179 passengers. The Monterrey – Huatulco – Monterrey route is offered on Mondays and Fridays at 10:46 AM from Monterrey-Huatulco and 13:29 Huatulco – Monterrey. The Secretary of Tourism of Oaxaca, Juan Carlos Rivera Castellanos, thanked Volaris airline for his confidence in this destination, since at the end of 2017, the airline will be available for a total of 1,112 frequencies and more than 200 thousand available seats per year, placing itself as the low cost airline that provides the most routes to the connectivity of the State.
