Bahias de Huatulco City Tour

by Brent May

Bahias de Huatulco is spread over a stretch of 21,000 hectares. The region is made up of nine bays and numerous small coves stretching along 35 kilometers of jagged coastline, including 36 white sandy beaches. Over 60% of the area is reserve land, national park and green spaces. The urban areas include 3 villages, La Crucecita, also know as “centro” which is inland as well as Santa Cruz and Chahue which are both beach communities. All 3 villages are close together and easy to navigate via inexpensive taxes.

Beyond the 3 villages is the hotel zone Tangolunda and residential neighborhoods such as Mirador Chahue, Arrocito, Balcones de Tangolunda, Conejos, Bocana and different Sectors. Development land is all privatized land and in limited availability in Bahias de Huatulco making it very desired.

The City Tours is designed to help you start to get the lay of the land before you begin touring with your real estate agent. You will be picked up from your hotel with map in hand and tour to different viewpoints, beaches and points of interest. This will help you become more familiar with the area as you will visit some of these areas again with your real estate agent. Then you can decide if you want to go back to the areas and visit them again on your free time. Please make sure you are ready for your driver at the time scheduled at the hotel lobby or the front gate of your development.

Then sit back, listen to your guide and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells!

Good Morning
We have been looking at Huatulco North to buy a ot or two to build a house. We have been there three times already this year as we want out of Canada’s we are getting taxed to death. E feel very safe there. Is it hard to have a bank account there and is there restrictions as to how much money you can take out at one time is what we heard. E would like to buy a all ready built house but there are good deals on lots. Also what does it cost per square foot to build down there as an average as we don’t want fancy house just solid house Thanks Paul
