How to Get to the Yucatan This Summer

by Brent May

Here we share how you can get to the Emerald Coast of the Yucatan this season.

If you are ready to explore the Mexican real estate market in the Yucatan, take time this summer to travel down and see where an affordable luxury beach lifestyle is available.  No need to travel to Cancun and drive up. You can fly into Merida, Yucatan state’s cultural capital.

We have beautiful panoramic ocean view properties for sale. Chicxulub Beach and Chelem are located in the Peninsula of Yucatan north of the city of Merida and 45 minutes from the Merida International Airport (MID). And up and coming Progreso is just 40 minutes away.

The quality of life on the Yucatan coast with its proximity to Merida, all of the conveniences and healthcare services of Progreso combined with an affordable beach lifestyle have heated up the real estate market in these small beach towns. Read more: Get To Know Progreso
