Flights from Toronto to Huatulco and Merida On Sale Now

Aeromexico has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to various places in Mexico down to between $279 and $383 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

The flights have 1 stop in Mexico City each way.

Most of these are destinations that either don’t have nonstop flights from Toronto, or if they do, they’re very expensive ($700-$1000 roundtrip).

How to find these flight sales:

1. Start with one of the following Google Flights searches:

Google Flights: Toronto to Huatulco
From $318 CAD roundtrip, November

Google Flights: Toronto to Merida
From $341 CAD roundtrip, December

Toronto to Huatulco in November

Toronto to Merida in December

2. Then you can browse more flights by clicking on the departure date box to open up the calendar view for cheap date combinations.

– Adjust the trip length at the bottom.

– Look for the dates that are $317 to $469 CAD roundtrip

Not traveling from Toronto? Enter your departure city and browse for flights.

3. You can also go to Skyscanner or FlightHub or Kayak and try the same destination and dates you found on Google Flights.

Can I extend a layover in Mexico City?

Aeromexico has never really allowed extended layovers without increasing the price. But, a layover could be added for about $179 CAD.

If you want to try to add a layover, start with a search like this:

Toronto to Huatulco, extended stay in MEX – $496

If you keep the stay to 1 night in MEX the price doesn’t increase from $317, but that’s not a lot of extra time to explore Mexico City.

You could also try a Multi-City search like this, with the flight not included between MEX and the second city…

Toronto to Huatulco and then MEX to Toronto – $317

And then look for a cheap one way back to Mexico City from Huatulco:

MEX to Huatulco – $55
